New Measures of Dress Code
To all PSDC Diploma students:
The PSDC management has come out with a set of new measures to make sure that all Diploma students wear proper attire and student badges at all times while they are in PSDC. The objective of such measures is to ensure that the students follow PSDC rules accurately and are disciplined enough to do it all the time. This is important to portray a good image of PSDC students to outsiders.
The following are the details of the new measures:
- Lecturers, SOE admin staff, security guards and librarians are responsible for taking down names of students caught without badges and/or not wearing proper attire inside or outside class in the PSDC.
- Students who are caught violating the rules for the first time will be issued warning letters. Their names will be published in SIS.
- Students who violate the rules again after the warning will be fined RM20 for each subsequent violation. Their names will again be published in SIS.
- If no payment is done for the fine, the semester results of the students will be put on hold until the payment is cleared.
These new measures will be implemented from 1 Aug 2013 (Thu) onwards. For those students who are not sure about proper wearing of badge and attire, please refer to the section Rules and Regulations, Dress Code in Student Handbook.
Being successful is great but being significant is lasting.
" I know a lot of people who believe they are successful because they have everything they want. They have added value to themselves. But I believe significance comes when you add value to others - and you can't have true success without significance." - John Maxwell
